Is a wedding planner required?

Yes, a wedding planner is required for every wedding. Below is our preferred list to choose from:

We recommend a full service planning package as it provides the most stress free experience. BLDG39 requires the minimum package of a 2-Week Out Coordination. Day of only planners are not permitted. 

What food can I have at BLDG39?

Two options for catering are - Olive & Shae and Seedling & Sage. Both offer full service catering and wedding coordination services. No other caterers are allowable at BLDG39. Drop off catering is not permitted. 

If you are looking to have food trucks at your event, there’s a great list of strongly recommended food trucks here. You can either arrange with them directly or through your wedding/event planner. If you wish to use food trucks outside of this list, they must be pre-approved by BLDG39 and provide a COI naming BLDG39 as an additional insured.

How does the bar work at BLDG39?

BLDG39 is a BYOB venue and does not have a liquor license. Alcohol must be served either by your full service caterer (Olive & Shae or Seedling & Sage) or Events with Shabars. No other bartenders are permitted and no self service alcohol is permitted.

Are Certificates of Insurance (COIs) required for all my vendors?

Yes, Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are require from all your vendors naming BLDG39 as an additional insured.

What is BLDG39’s max capacity?

Fully seated events are 120 guests. Seated and Casual Indoor 150 guests. Indoor/Outdoor 175 guests.

Can I use an outside baker for my wedding cake?

Yes

Responsibilities - What does the venue provide versus what does the client/wedding planner provide?

The venue provides: 

Built in bar, semi-private suite/dressing area, free parking for up to 80 cars, sound system with microphone (streaming only; band or DJ must bring their own sound equipment), subtle uplighting, indoor string lighting, WiFi, handicap accessible bathroom, 85 inch smart TV that you can display a logo or slideshow on from your device.

Included furniture (subject to change):

  • 120 white cross-back chairs

  • 18 8 ft folding tables that require linen rental.

  • 18 30” round high tops that require linen rental

The venue does NOT provide:

  • Food & beverage

  • The physical bar is a service bar only. You should plan to have your own bus tubs, serving trays, coolers, ice tubs, beverage tubs, etc for the bar.  

  • Event rentals such as china/flatware/glassware, etc

  • Trash bags

  • Staffing

  • Linens for our tables

  • Event vendors
